What is the constitution?

This book is like a "pocket book" both in terms of its size and in terms of its content, and it is written by Counselor Dr. Abdel Aziz Salman, Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court in Egypt, through which he wanted to enable the reader to take note of the constitution in an easy and accessible language that everyone understands without details or an attempt to delve deeper into rooting.
The constitution is at the top of the legal pyramid of the state, which is a set of legal rules that show the form of the state, the authorities within it, the relations between these authorities, the rights and freedoms of individuals, and how to protect them.
The importance of the existence of a constitution comes in that it governs the actions of public authorities within the State, determines their legitimacy, but rather determines the authorities themselves, and also determines the mandate of each authority, and the barriers that limit these powers, and the relationship between the authorities is based, whether on the basis of the separation of powers, and whether this separation is flexible or rigid, and its effects, which contains the philosophy of the State in all its political, social and economic fields.
If the protection of human rights and freedoms is the focus of the world's constant attention and will continue to be the focus of attention of States, groups and individuals in the future, it is the Constitution that codifies them, sets out what they are and how to protect them.
This "booklet" is just a look at the meaning of the word "constitution" and what topics it should contain, and this type of publication will inevitably contribute to spreading the constitutional culture and enabling citizens to realize their rights and duties in an easy and easy way.
