The President of the Constitutional Court, Dr. Manuel Miguel da Costa Aragão, expressed this Thursday, August 12, 2021, to the President of the Republic his desire to cease his duties as President of the Constitutional Court, a request that was accepted by the President of the Republic.

Manuel Aragão, appointed in November 2017 by the Angolan president for the functions was also the acting President of the CJCA since June 2019.
