Victoria Falls: The DR Congo will host the 8th Congress of the CJCA in 2026.

The Democratic Republic of Congo will host the work of the 8th Congress of the Conference of African Constitutional Jurisdictions (CJCA) in 2026.
The member countries of this pan-African organization voted unanimously for the DR Congo, at the end of the 7th General Assembly of the CJCA held in Zimbabwe.
This means that the DRC, which was in competition with Ethiopia for the organization of the 8th Congress of the CJCA, was elected president of this organization for a 2-year term which begins in 2026. This 7th General Assembly of the CJCA also elected the new members of the Executive Bureau for the period 2024 - 2026. The DRC, as host country of the 8th Congress of the CJCA in 2026, automatically occupies the position of 1st vice-president of this decision-making body of this international judicial organization, through the president of its High Court, Dieudonné Kamuleta.
