In accordance with the Statute of the CJCA, the 15^th session of the Executive Bureau of the CJCA was held in Kinshasa, DR Congo on February 9 and 10, 2023 under the chairmanship of the Honorable Judge-Mr Said IHRAI, President of the Constitutional Court of Kingdom of Morocco, current President of the CJCA in response to the kind invitation of Mr DIEUDONNÉ Kamuleta Badibanga, President of the Constitutional Court of the DR Congo, host country of this Session.

Were present at this session, the jurisdictions of Algeria, Angola, DR Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe.

The members of the Bureau examined and adopted, among other things, the 2022 activity report, the activity program for 2023 and proceeded to the closure of the 2022 budget year and the adoption of the provisional budget for 2023.

The Honorable Justice Mr Luke MALABA, Chief Justice of Zimbabwe, briefed the Bureau on the preparations for the 7th CJCA Congress to be held in October 2024 in Victoria Falls-Zimbabwe.

The presidents and representatives of the member jurisdictions of the Bureau made presentations on the latest constitutional and/or electoral developments in their respective countries.

A motion of thanks was adopted by all the participants in the 15th session of the Executive Board of the CJCA wishing to send their sincere congratulations to H.E. Mr. Dieudonne Kamuleta BADIBANGA, President of the Constitutional Court and President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary of the Democratic Republic of Congo, for its initiative to host the work of this session, thanking it more, as well as the members of the Constitutional Court and all of its staff, for the warm welcome, hospitality and excellent organization of this event and the great success of the work of this session.

The members of the Executive Board of CJCA, very affected by the human losses and the damage following the earthquake which affected Turkey, took this opportunity to present to the President of the Constitutional Court of Turkey and through him to the Turkish people, their sympathy and assure them of their support.

The next session of the CJCA Executive Bureau will be held the last week of January 2024.
