Morocco: Holding of the 6th Congress of the CJCA (Read more)

The Conference of African Constitutional Jurisdictions - CJCA - will hold its 6th Congress from 22 to 24 November 2022 in Rabat-Morocco, at the kind invitation of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Morocco.
On this occasion, the Conference will bring together the Member African Constitutional Courts and Councils and Supreme Courts, the Constitutional Courts of Russia and Turkey in their capacity as observer members of the CJCA, representatives of the African Union, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, the World Conference on Constitutional Justice, of the Council of Europe's Commission for Democracy through Law, as well as regional groups involved in the field of Constitutional Justice, with a total of no less than 120 participants.
The theme of the Congress, proposed by the Host Court, is: "African Constitutional Jurisdictions and International Law"
At its 6th General Assembly, the Conference decided to consider and adopt:
-the moral and financial relationship;
-new memberships;
-the program of activities and the 2022-2024 budget;
-the election of a Secretary General and an Executive Board;
The Congress will decide which country will agree to host the 7th Congress of the CJCA, scheduled for 2024.
